About this site...

Is it...

a/ Exclusive information from a well placed source?

b/The rantings of a raving maniac?

c/A 'How high is the sky?' site for adults?

Exclusive information? - Okay...I admit it...only some of the information was from `legitimate` sources.About half of the wilder concepts described within these pages are actually my own.I`ll leave you to guess which half!

The rantings of a raving maniac? - These ideas might sound wild and far fetched but they`re definitely not completely insane-I was surprised to find, when I visited Londons Patent Office recently, that in fact the most commercialy viable ideas expressed here have already been taken advantage of by others.

'How high is the sky?' - This is probably what this site most closely represents.Couched in authoratitive language, the articles might now seem phoney, but let`s face it-Who`d read a site which was just a collection of questions? In creating this site,I`ve made something that I hope you`ll find entertaining(and preferably not unintentionally funny!),but the main purpose is to try to make you think.Maybe you can give me the answers the textbooks don`t provide!

To many,it may all seem a little weird. For it`s unfashionable to ask questions about science(unless you`re an old man with a funny name and an odd haircut, that is).But if there`s one thing that`s certain,it is that everyone has something to contribute, and thus everyone should really be asking these questions.Perhaps then we really would be going places.

A final, more mundane,question- Is there a website where, for a small fee,you can ask questions or express ideas?Pupils to teachers?Post grads(me) to professors?Perhaps have these questions ideas broadcast around the world by the site, and have some patent protection for really good ideas?A sort of global think tank?I doubt if there is because it would natually require international legislation, and be well known as a result.Surely there should be such a site? Will somebody get their skates on,and make one!
